Our Laboratory – the foundation of your safety!
We provide our partners with a fully equipped research and implementation facility. Thanks to advanced equipment, we guarantee the highest quality, production consistency and compliance with stringent safety standards:
- Perfect color management: We use the latest-generation X-Rite eXact 2 spectrophotometers. They ensure digital color measurement precision, guaranteeing ideal color consistency for your brand at every stage of flexographic printing.
- Cleanliness and migration analysis: We use gas chromatographs (FID, GC-MS) to ensure complete product safety and compliance with GFSI standards.
- Barrier testing (WVTR / OTR): Precise measurements of water vapor and oxygen permeability allow us to optimize product shelf life.
- Strength and sealing: Using tensile testing machines and the Lippke system, we test seal strength, lamination and packaging mechanical resistance.
- Structure and identification: A scanning microscope and IR spectroscope allow us to precisely analyze the structure of the supplied packaging and identify individual layers.
- Print durability: Using the Ink Rub Tester, we verify print resistance to abrasion, which is crucial in packaging processes.
Partnerships and development
CDM’s R&D department develops new product, technologica, and process solutions in cooperation with the Lodz University of Technology, the West Pomeranian University of Technology and the Natureef Association.
These partnerships include modifications, prototype testing and integrating innovations with the needs of customers and suppliers, accelerating implementation and increasing the business value of packaging. Thanks to this, our development is even more effective.
