CDM’s Innovation Center
At CDM, we believe that innovation is the path to building a market advantage. Our Innovation Center is a space where over 30 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry combines with a visionary approach to ecology and modern technology.
We not only stay current with trends, we co-create them, providing our partners with solutions that are safe, functional, and fully compliant with the requirements of the future.
Our strength lies in our constant access to current academic knowledge. Thanks to our collaboration with the Lodz University of Technology, we combine a practical production approach with scientific precision:
- We conduct joint research, development and implementation projects.
- We carry out specialized studies, including aging tests and migration analyses.
- We actively participate in industry organizations such as the Natureef Association and the Polish Chamber of Flexographers, which allows us to respond rapidly to legal and technological changes.
Monomaterial revolution and recycling
In response to global environmental challenges and PPWR regulations, we have developed an innovative line of products that combine excellent barrier properties with ease of recycling:
· Barrier mono PE and mono PP packaging: Innovative, single-component packaging that can be fully recycled.
· Paper solutions: Pouch, flow pack, and conical sleeve with barrier properties, providing an ecological alternative to traditional plastics.
· Design for Recycling: Every project at our center is based on the principles of environmentally friendly and consumer-safe design.
Responsibility and the environment
For us, sustainability is a process of continuous monitoring and optimization. Our mission to deliver sustainable packaging is based on real-world actions:
· Process Monitoring: We precisely monitor process parameters, striving to minimize waste.
· Structure Optimization: We design lighter and more efficient packaging, which directly translates into a reduced carbon footprint throughout the supply chain.
· Safety and Hygiene: Every solution undergoes testing in our laboratory, guaranteeing complete product safety and compliance with GFSI requirements.
